FILL YOUR HORN WITH OIL AND GO- Today at Family Worship Center, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart reads 1st Samuel 16:1 looking at the mourning of the prophet Samuel over Saul, as Samuel was the last to judge over Israel. Brother Swaggart says the believer is not called to a life of complaining and mourning; but yet, the Lord understands it when we do. God heard Samuel’s words, and He still spoke to the prophet. God rejected Saul, the king of Israel, because Saul rejected Him. David was God’s choice to be the anointed king. Believers must seek the Lord to hear the call He has on our lives. When we do, the Word of God and the message of the Cross will go forth. God specializes in victories, and He has a victory plan for all who will believe on Him. Brother Swaggart says the message of the Cross is God’s last word to the church before the rapture of the church and the coming great tribulation.
