HELPERS IN THE WAR— Are you a helper in God’s army or a spectator? Today Pastor Donnie Swaggart preaches from 1 Chronicles 12:1. He reminds us how all believers are important in this spiritual war to see souls that are bound by sin, saved. He says we must be active in the fight to take the gospel out into all the earth. He reminds us how Satan is ever working hard to prove God a liar; therefore, the church needs to take authority over this evil. Brother Donnie reminds how David’s rebellion lasted a year and a half; but when David’s mighty men came looking for him, God turned things around. Often times, like David, the believer learns more from his failures than his victories. We must separate ourselves unto God, to be fit for the battle before us. To do that, we must know the truth provided in the Word of God, equipping ourselves against doubt, fear, and complaint. Remember in the tough times, praise the Lord. We must have Godly wisdom, like David’s men; we are called to duty, and must be prepared, as experts for war, i.e. Single-minded in Christ.
