THE SONG OF SIMEON— When we are hungry for the things of God, revelation will come. Today Pastor Gabriel Swaggart preaches from the Gospel of Luke 2:25-31. He shares the prophecy of Simeon, and the revelation by the Holy Spirit, for Him to go to the temple to see Jesus, His Messiah. Simeon sang a song to Jesus, saying now Your servant can die in peace. He knew he had seen His Messiah, his salvation. Pastor Gabe reminds us that our salvation cannot be found in a temple, a church, or a man made law; but only in a person, Christ Jesus and His finished work on Calvary’s Cross. He is the Savior of the World. He is the greatest gift anyone can receive. Seek first the Kingdom of God and all things will be added unto you. Just as Simeon was called, Jesus is calling all to a relationship with Him.
