A LEADERSHIP OF LOVE- Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart reads Ephesians 5:25-28, discussing the role of the husband in the home. A godly marriage is to be anchored in the love of Christ and not in selfishness. Pastor Gabe says too many Christian marriages are wrongly focused on submission by the wife and give the man a dictatorial role. Agapé love is a sacrificial love, and men are called to love their wives as Christ loved the church. When a marriage is rooted in the sacrifice that Christ gave on Calvary’s Cross, the proper love should result with a protective, loving husband, who builds up his wife; remember Christ has never been selfish with us. Pastor Gabe encourages all couples to pray together, and pray that God will reveal the changes they need to make personally and as a couple so that they may live out their faith and raise up their children in a home anchored in faith of Christ crucified.
