REMOVE NOT THE OLD LANDMARK- The wisdom of God comes from heaven, not man. Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Donnie Swaggart preaches from the Book of Proverbs, reading from chapters 22 and 23. He addresses who man is and where we are going. Brother Donnie says there are three most significant truths that confirm the wisdom of God. The Bible, Jesus Christ, and what Christ did at Calvary. The bible is our true report and is our only book of light. Jesus Christ, and His deity came to earth to redeem sinful man; there would be no benefit, no salvation, if He had not gone to Calvary’s Cross. Jesus Christ paid the debt man owes in full. This is our landmark. Solomon, in his wisdom, said, “remove not the old landmark”. No other landmark compares to that of Calvary. It must be at the forefront of our lives. Man’s problem is not a mind problem; it’s a sin problem. Without the old landmark of Christ’s finished work at the Cross, man will lose all sense of direction. Believers must never stop preaching, teaching, and singing the Cross of Jesus Christ.
