FOUR REQUESTS FROM A MAN WHO WAS DOWN, BUT NOT OUT- Today Pastor Gabriel Swaggart preaches a clear reminder to believers of just who God is. In 1 Chronicles 4:9-10, Pastor Gabe shares the prayer of Jabez, a man whose very name means, he causes me to sorrow; Jabez draws ever nearer to God and asks God to bless him. Pastor Gabe walks us through his prayer and shares with us HOW to draw nearer to God despite our circumstances. First, we need to ask God to bless us, for He is a blessing God. Second, we must not be shackled to our circumstances, but surrender them all over to God. Third, we turn our faith loose; we quit doubting, and expect the outcome of a miracle. We trust and believe He is a blessing God, that His hand is on us, and this alone will strengthen our faith. Finally, we recognize that we are in the safety of God, when we pray through the circumstance we can know He will protect us from evil and bring us out!
