We shall know the truth, and the truth shall make us free. Tonight, at Family Worship Center, Pastor Donnie Swaggart and panel read Titus 1:8-11 studying the role of a pastor; focusing in on, two of the fruits of the spirit, love and goodness. These are important virtues to find in a true minister of the gospel. A pastor should desire love and goodness, and should know the value of being fair and just, while having humor when appropriate. The pastor must hold fast to the Word of God, and exemplify holiness, as only the Holy Spirit can make possible through correct faith in the finished work. Anything that is not of God, will fall apart. The believer must learn Bible doctrine, and know God’s truth, letting it rule our lives. When we know His truth, we will recognize false teachers who are the arms of Satan trying to pull us away from the only truth that leads to eternal life.
