He came as the Lamb of God, raised many from the dead, and after three days and three nights, He Himself rose from the dead. Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Revelation 1:1-4, and the revelation of Jesus Christ given to John. Brother Swaggart says the words of the Holy Spirit, through John, speak of the might and power that extols Jesus. When He comes again, He will come with even greater might and power. Brother Smith reminds us that God wants to reveal Himself to those who will seek Him. Brother Swaggart says John was surrounded by persecution as He wrote this great Book of Revelation. It’s during persecution that the church grows the most. Revelation 1:3 tells us that blessed is he who reads, and hears the words of this Prophecy. We must believe God for His promises. As believers, we are encouraged by His Word when we read, hear, understand and maintain the opportunity He gives, when we believe on His finished work at Calvary and that alone.
