If your faith is in Christ and what He did at the Cross, you will make heaven. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss unrepentant sin, and if it will be held against a believer when it comes time for the rapture. As a believer we are to live our life every day in a spirit of repentance. Pastor Donnie says we will always be an imperfect person until we make heaven; however, we should be convicted of the sin in our lives and should repent, and daily make it our goal to Glorify God. Dr. Gray says if you rebel against that conviction, you can fall into a back slidden state. Brother Nations says the mercy of God is so great that even if we back slide, God doesn’t stop loving us, we just need to tell the Lord we are sorry. Sanctification is progressive in a Christian’s life and is not instantaneous. You will reap the good things of God when you keep your faith anchored in the work of Jesus Christ on Calvary’s Cross.
