Our sins are washed away; not based on anything we do, but on Christ’s faithfulness to us when we repent and believe on Him. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss what water baptism symbolizes. As the believer goes under the water, it symbolizes the death of Christ. When in the water, a cleansing is symbolized; and then, coming up out of the water, symbolizes the resurrection of Christ. Brother Muzzerall says there is no saving power in the water or in the act of water baptism; but rather, it represents that which has already been done in the heart, salvation. Do you find yourself in fear or another bondage? The panel advises us to keep our faith in the truth, and turn to anointed music and preaching to break the yoke of bondage because God is going to see us through.
