Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel welcome Vietnam Veteran, Dave Roever, a Brown Water Black Beret; along with Dan Dang, scholar, and bible translator for the Hmong people of North Vietnam. The two share how their beautiful friendship came to be, and their joined efforts to improve the conditions, and relations with the United States and Vietnam. They are working to translate the Expositor’s Study Bible into the Hmong language for the several millions of Hmong people in North Vietnam and South China. Brother Roever shares how he nearly lost his life from a grenade being shot out of his hand in the Vietnam war. He shares how his faith in Jesus Christ has brought him through so many trials and has blessed him with a ministry today. Brother Roever says he has been able to sow in at least 36 countries; and has over 120-thousand Bible students in Vietnam learning the Gospel under their ministry. He encourages the power of forgiveness that brings freedom that war never would.
