When believers see Jesus in heaven, He will be at the right hand of the Father. Acts 7:54-55 is clear that the Father will be there. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel answer an emailer who wondered if we would see the Father, and how would He appear to us. Brother Donnie says he believes the Father will likely be recognizable to us in the likeness of a man, just as Jesus will be. He also believes the Holy Spirit may also appear in the likeness of man because in scripture we read that the Spirit sees, speaks, grieves and has anger, all attributes that people have. He will not be flesh and blood as a man, just in likeness. Brother Donnie says we won’t know for sure until we get to heaven. The panel also addresses the understanding of the Message of the Cross; as it is not referencing the wooden beam, but the finished work that Christ did there. Brother Muzzerall shares 1 Corinthians 1:17-18 and how it is clear that the preaching of the Cross is to those who are perishing, foolishness, but unto us who are being saved it is the power of God. Brother Nations says from the very first sacrifice in the garden to every sacrifice thereafter, the Cross was being presented as Jesus would be the final sacrifice. He was the spotless Lamb of God, slain to take away the sin of the world.
