When a righteous man dies, his soul and spirit will go to spend eternity in heaven. When an unbeliever dies their soul and spirit goes to eternal torment in hell. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss what happens to those who die in their sin? In Luke 16, we see how Lazarus was carried by angels to Abraham’s bosom, in Paradise; the rich man, however, opened his eyes in the torments of hell. Acts 24:15 is clear; there certainly will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked, the just and the unjust. The panel encourages the believer to not be deceived by Satan; he wants you to doubt your salvation. Brother Nations says we must walk by faith and not by feelings. The Great White Throne judgment is for the judgment of unbelievers that brings them eternal damnation. All believer’s names will be in the Lamb’s Book of Life, and at the Judgment Seat of Christ they will be judged for what they did with their salvation and receive rewards accordingly in heaven.
