A believer’s value system should be based on the Word of God. Today on Frances and Friends, Brother Donnie reads the Sermon on the Mount from Matthew 7:24-25. Scripture is clear, storms will come; if our house is built on the Rock of Jesus Christ, it will not fall. Our foundation remains firm, because it is the right foundation. The Bible is a book of doctrine. Dr. Gray says doctrine is biblical truths laid out in systemized theology. Brother Donnie explains the three baptisms we must know: first we are baptized into Christ, at salvation, then there is a physical water baptism, which is an ordinance that shows forth what has already happened in our heart when we were saved, and finally there is the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. This baptism is available to all who are saved, just ask and receive.
