Christians must walk in truth, and rightly divide the Word of God. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss Mark 8:14-15. In this scripture, Brother Donnie says Jesus is giving us a warning. He says, take heed of false doctrine and any corruption to the Word of God. We are not to add to, or take away, from the Bible. Brother Donnie says when the Word is rightly divided by the believer, the Holy Spirit will bring forth fruit in the life of the believer and in the church. We are hid in Christ when we believe on the finished work of Jesus. Man cannot atone for his own sin, nor can he sanctify himself. Jesus redeemed man through His death and the shedding of His innocent blood. When Jesus died on the Cross, He said, it is finished!
