Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and the panel discuss Philemon 1:13. Brother Donnie says this is a great teaching on forgiveness. The Apostle Paul had confidence in the salvation of Onesimus, and trusted the fruit that was showing forth in his born again experience. Brother Donnie says the Holy Spirit moved greatly on Paul during this time when he wrote his prison epistles. The panel discusses the importance of forgiving those who have done us wrong despite whether or not the person has asked for forgiveness. God expects believers to forgive, just as God has forgiven us; if not, we will bring more harm to ourselves and hinder the blessings of God.
