O Lord, to thee will I cry. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and the panel discuss the prophecies of the minor prophet Joel, regarding prayer, on this National Day of Prayer. In Joel 1:1-20, the prophet says gird yourself, fast, and cry out to the Lord. Scripture says we must stand between the porch and the altar; this is a call to intercessory prayer. We must intercede for the lost and the wicked. We need divine intervention on behalf of the direction America is going. The church must repent in humility and call on God; then and only then, God will turn things around. Pastor Mike shares the Bible’s depiction of heaven, with streets of gold and mansions for all with activities, learning, and constant praise and worship to the slain Lamb of God, who sits on His throne. It will be a place of no more pain or sorrow as we will be in the never-ending peace and presence of God. When we see Him, we will be like Him.
