All bible doctrine stems from Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss being rooted and built up in Christ, reading Colossians 2:7. When we put down our roots in the finished work of Christ, God will work on our behalf. He prunes and waters us, and we will bear fruit. There is no other way to grow as a believer. If we remove ourselves from our faith in Christ, our growth will stop. The panel discusses the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and tongues being the initial, physical evidence of the infilling of the Holy Spirit. The panel addresses the many questions about the sin of Adam and Eve and whether they made heaven or hell. The 66 books of the Bible make up the complete, inspired canon of scripture; any other books are not to be added to it, as they do not uphold God’s Word.
