Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss marriage and raising children in a Godly home. The panel discusses a Michigan couple being the first US parents sentenced for manslaughter for their teen’s high school shooting that killed four students in 2021. The jury determined the parents were aware that their child had issues and could be a threat, and yet allowed a weapon in his presence, which is criminal negligence. Brother Mike says people have the legal rights to bear arms, but there is a responsibility that must go along with gun ownership to keep everyone safe. Sister Swaggart asks, what does God think of Christian’s who believe in positive confession and speaking only positive thoughts. Brother Donnie says the only positive speaking is speaking what the Word of God says, and not trying to deny the obvious. If you are sick, you are sick, so don’t say, I am not sick but say, I know my God is able to heal me.
