Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss candidate Kamala Harris’ selection for a running mate on the Presidential ticket. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, appeared with Harris on the campaign stage in Philadelphia. He is one of the most liberal Governors in the United States, supporting transgender surgeries of minors without parental consent and supports abortions up to birth. Walz supports strict gun control legislation, and came under fire in 2020 after protests and riots broke out in Minnesota during the aftermath of the death of George Floyd, who died in police custody during an arrest in Minneapolis. After a three-day delay, Walz called in the National Guard, but declined an offer from the Trump administration for federal resources.
