Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel welcome guest Missionary Kody Barbier of the Barbier Ministries. Brother Kody shares he and his wife’s call to missions in East Africa, specifically in the countries of Nairobi and Kenya. To date, the Barbier Ministries has handed out some 150-thousand Expositor’s Study Bibles. Sister Swaggart asks Brother Kody to describe the spiritual climate in Kenya, where Christianity is growing. He shares how there are many Muslim, tribal groups in unreached deserts. He also adds how the greatest challenge, once Kenyans are reached with the gospel, is to help them to further understand that we don’t just come to God for what they can get from Him. Today, many East African unbelievers are being drawn to salvation through the Jesus film and worship on the streets.
