Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and the panel discuss 1 John 2:12. The panel welcomes special guests Houston Theologian and Archeologist Scott Stripling, and Crosby Texas Pastor David Cavazos. Brother Stripling’s team has unearthed significant artifacts in Shiloh that fit the time of Joshua and the ancient priestly city. Most recently, from Mount Ebal, a small led tablet predating 1000 B.C. revealed Egyptian script as it morphed into the early Hebrew language. Pastor Karbowski and Stripling shared how remarkable it is to find the many centuries of artifacts from the biblical sacrificial system of the tabernacle including horns from the altar, pomegranates, which adorned the priest’s robes, and many animal bones. Brother Stripling says this is every believer’s story of redemption; he adds, these digs and their findings give people an encounter with factual, touchable evidence that lines up with the truths recorded in the Bible.
