Material riches cannot satisfy the heart of man. Today on Frances and Friends Pastor Donnie Swaggart and panel discuss how the believer is in high position in the eyes of God. Reading James 1:9-12, we see God’s view of us is opposite of how man often sees us. Men will look at our financial status based on material things; but as believers, our trust is in God, not in our riches. Riches are temporal; Brother Donnie says, it is okay to have riches, but we are not to put our trust in them. The Bible says we are to lay up our treasures in heaven, setting our eyes on heavenly things.
