As Christians, we have only one mediator. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss how the Bible is clear, there is only one mediator between man and God. We pray to Jesus and Him alone. Brother Dave responds to questions concerning Catholicism; Jesus said to pray to the Father in my name- not Mary. Remember, Mary got saved like everyone else. The panel also addresses confession within the Catholic faith, as it is also unscriptural. Confession to a man is a sign of power and control over the people. No man has authority to give the forgiveness of sin, only Christ. Brother Mike reminds all believers to seek God now in these current times of testing. Believers need to be a people of prayer always, not just in an emergency.
