Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and the panel read from 1 John 2:21 discussing the deity and humanity of Christ. Brother Donnie says as deity Christ could not die, so He had to become human to become the only perfect sacrifice that God would accept. We must have correct teaching to understand who Jesus is and what He did or we will not properly understand the Bible and will set ourselves up for deception. The panel discusses the misunderstanding of scripture regarding the rapture and the second coming. When the believer dies, the soul and Spirit goes to be with the Lord in heaven; at the time of the rapture, the dead in Christ and those alive in Him will be given glorified bodies and will come back with Christ at the Second Coming. The presence of the Lord is everything and is available to all believers who seek Him in truth. He cares for us
