Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss the transfiguration on the Mount where Christ was seen with Elijah and Moses. Reading from Mark 9:2-8, Brother Donnie says God allowed His glory to be seen from the inside out, shining outwardly from Christ. This represents the coming Milleinnal Reign and how the glory of God will come down to earth, and that light of glory will be the light on full display for a thousand years, with no need for the sun or moon. Peter, suggesting the building of three tabernacles for those he saw illuminated, was rebuked by God saying, this is my beloved Son in whom I am pleased. Brother Donnie believes these two with Christ were chosen to be there because Moses was a type of the law, and Elijah a type of grace. In the Millennial Reign, we will see the patriarchs of old, and those saved by grace; but most importantly, we will see the preeminence of Jesus Christ ruling and reigning.
