Mankind has a free will to serve and worship the Lord, because God loved us first. Today on Frances and Friends Sister Swaggart and panel discuss how there would be no purpose for church or evangelism of any kind if God had pre-destined man for who would be saved and who would not. The panel answers emails about the subject of pre-selection or pre-destination by God, which is a false doctrine and not supported in the Bible. 2 Peter 3:9 is clear, God does not choose our salvation for us. God’s plan of mercy and grace is us accepting that Christ died for our sins. We realize that and repent and say yes to Him. Sister Swaggart adds there is nothing cheap about God’s grace. If we hang on to our sin, we cheapen the price He paid with His blood, and grace is anything but cheap!
