Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss 1st Corinthians 1:18; for the preaching of the Cross is to them that perish foolishness, but unto us which are saved, it is the power of God. Brother Muzzerall reminds us that we are victorious when we give our lives to Christ and accept Him as our Savior. He reminds us that just as we are saved by faith, we will also be changed into the image of Christ by anchoring our faith in the finished work of Christ on the Cross, and not by taking on works of our flesh to change us. The Apostle Paul preached the Cross to the believers in Corinth, warning of the false teachers among the people. Brother Nations warns us likewise to beware of the wisdom of men in the church today; let nothing turn you to works to seek victory over sin. When Jesus died on Calvary’s Cross, He said it is finished.
