Despite Christ’s miracles, He was not the king/Messiah the people wanted. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and the panel discuss Matthew 12:1-7. The religious leaders of that day rejected Christ and found fault with His teachings. Brother Smith said, the Messiah, whom they had well studied, was standing right in front of them, but they were blind to who He was. They were so involved in their personal mechanics of the sacrifices that they didn’t even know that the sacrifice was pointing to Christ.
