Faith and deeds are inseparable. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and the panel discuss James 2:23-26. Brother Donnie says when our faith is in Christ’s finished work we will have a changed life that can be seen by others. We don’t change ourselves; the Holy Spirit does the changing. In the Old Testament, the Sabbath was to remind the Israelites to rest on this day and remember their deliverance out of Egypt. In the New Covenant, Jesus Christ came to fulfill all the Law of the Old Covenant; He is the Sabbath, and everyday we can rest in Him. Pastor Muzzerall shares insight on the many deceptive teachings of the Catholic religion. He says Catholics can still get saved, as many of their teachings are correct; but the concern is when they learn the sacraments and put their faith in them, this then puts their salvation in harm’s way.
