Does America see the difference between conservatism and socialism? Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss the Republican National Convention, and the young Congressional candidate, Madison Cawthorn of North Carolina, a paraplegic who stood up from his wheelchair to stand for the liberty, freedom and Republic of the United States of America. Brother Donnie said it’s amazing that some in the media have put a negative spin on his speech. Brother Donnie says you don’t attack somebody for their patriotism. The panel also addresses the rioting and killings in Wisconsin and the continued focus on racism being behind it all. Brother Donnie looks at Romans Chapter 4, where it is written, I have made you a father of many nations, speaking of Abraham and through his loins would come a great number of people, which was Israel. God told Abraham this was to transpire. Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. The panel also discusses our relationship with God is with a living God; it’s not giving praise or worship to anything made by man, therefore we don’t worship statues or dead saints.
