Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and the panel discuss Matthew 10:37-42; looking at the power of preaching and what needs to be preached in churches today. Dr. Gray shares how we must keep our eyes on the Cross of Christ and stand on the Word of God. Sister Swaggart says preaching on sin and the Cross is not popular, because people dislike hearing about sin or any do’s and don’ts. We must seek what the Lord would have us to do in all things, and the church must lead believers in the Word of God to understand what God’s instruction is for us. Brother Gray says we must be very careful of what church we tithe to and what they teach. Many teach liberalistic and atheistic theology. The Lord is calling us to come out from among them and be separate. Brother Josh says God will lead us to Calvary. When the message of the Cross is preached, and the Gospel is going forth the Holy Spirit will move in approval.
