Believers are to be a reflection of the light of Jesus Christ. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and the panel discuss 1 John 1:7, and what it means to walk in the light. Brother Donnie says light is righteousness and Christians should hunger for this righteousness of Christ; through salvation, the blood of Jesus has cleansed our sins. Christ did not die to leave us in our sin, but to set us free from the bondage of sin. God is the author of peace, joy, and rest; He is not the author of confusion. The panel discusses the truth of the Bible and how we are not to worship the Bible itself, but recognize and honor the truth written in it. The Bible holds the answers for all of life’s problems. The panel also explains baptized into Christ, which happens at salvation and how this is not the same as water baptism, which does not save but shows forth what has already taken place in the heart when a person is born again.
