Jesus Christ paid the debt that we could not pay. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and the panel discuss Philemon 1:18-19. The Apostle Paul is teaching love and forgiveness through the return of Onesimus to Philemon. The Apostle Paul is interceding on Onesimus’ behalf, just as Christ intercedes for every sinner who will believe. The panel discusses the police solidarity shown in New York City for fallen officer Jason Rivera. Dr. Gray says this massive funeral procession is a reminder that many people still support our police and do want order, which is God’s way. Defunding the police would bring disorder. Sister Swaggart brings up the disheartening comments made by Whoopi Goldberg on The View talk show; Goldberg said, “the Holocaust was not about race”. Goldberg was suspended from the program for two weeks. Brother Brown says our nation is losing respect for one another.
