Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel read Colossians 3:20 discussing the Apostle Paul's teachings of what a Godly family is to look like. Children are called to obey their parents. Children should be a parent's spiritual priority. The believer is called to stand for biblical truths, which includes an obligation to be obedient to the laws of our land despite a government led by many ungodly leaders. Reading Mark 12:17, it is clear believers have a responsibility to pay taxes. Brother Donnie says if it weren't for government we wouldn't have our roads and interstate system, our military protection, and many other government provisions. The panel responds to an email that asks about bad thoughts in the mind of a believer. Brother Muzzerall says temptation is not a sin, but it's what we do with our bad thoughts. Christ died so that the loins of our mind are girded in the things of God; when our faith is anchored in the finished work of Christ, the Holy Spirit will work on our behalf.
