Rest for a sheep is important; we, like sheep, need to rest in the Lord as we grow in the knowledge of Him. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and the panel discuss Psalms 23:1-2 encouraging us in the abundant provisions of God. When we surrender to the ways of God, we will find the peace and rest we long for. The panel discusses Sunday being the first day of the week in the New Covenant. Jesus Christ was resurrected on a Sunday. Jesus’ death at Calvary fulfilled all the law of the Old Covenant. In Christ, every day is the Sabbath day; we worship and rest in Him every day of the week.
