Creation demands a Creator. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel continue discussing the Gap Theory, addressing the doctrine of free will. God created all beings, angelic and human to choose Him or nor to choose Him; this is free will. The free will that Lucifer was given is what caused him to puff up in pride and turn against God and fall from heaven. Brother John says scripture does not expose the age of the earth, as this is a secret of God kept to Himself. The Bible primarily addresses man’s creation, man’s sin, and man’s redemption. We will not discover the age of the earth in this dispensation. God knows all things, but He doesn’t make all things happen. Brother Josh says God knew that it would be hard for man to understand eternity past and eternity future, thus there was a “gap” of details that were left out; but we have everything we need to know for living this life and making heaven for eternity in the Bible.
