Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss the words of Jesus, in the Book of Matthew, where He lays out the baptismal formula. Jesus said, be baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Baptism is an ordinance of the church, but it is not a required sacrament for salvation. Water baptism shows forth externally what has already taken place internally in the heart and life when a person says yes to the finished work of Christ on the Cross. The panel addresses the Grace Revolution movement and the teaching of Joseph Prince that falsely teaches that Christians do not need to repent of their sin. Scripture is clear, believers are to repent, and turn from their sin.
