God will always come through. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel read James 1:1, helping us to understand the preaching’s and teachings of James with regards to works. Brother Donnie says James did not disagree with the teachings of Paul. Paul taught that works would not save you; it’s faith in Christ alone that saves us. James taught true faith would produce proper works. But be sure, works do not save. There is a divine order to the born again life, and that order is, we please God by being salt and light to the world. As a believer, our life shows that evidence, works are an outgrowth of what has happened in our hearts. Spiritual maturity doesn’t happen overnight, but it will happen.
