This is the way. In the Old Testament, and now, man has to learn "the way" of God, sometimes through consequences. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss how no consequences to lawlessness will result in anarchy, similar to what we are seeing in Seattle today. The panel discusses Old Testament deaths, as so many question God’s motives; asking why did Uzzah die touching the Ark of the Covenant being moved on a new cart under King David’s orders. Dr. Gray says it was a primitive world then, and God was declaring a Holy way and standard that we can’t understand. Brother Dave Smith says today we have the same disobedience playing out in Spiritual death, right in the church. The panel also discusses Paul’s thorn in the flesh referenced in 2 Corinthians 12:7. Brother Donnie says this was a spiritual warfare where Paul encountered a spirit of Satan that was sent to oppose the Apostle Paul’s work for the Lord.
