Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss the nine gifts of the Spirit, 1 Corinthians 12:8-18. Brother Donnie says he believes more Christians are using the gifts, likely more than they know. The Gift of discernment and of wisdom are two of the gifts that many Christians use often. Brother Donnie says Christians need to use that wisdom in November when they vote, and they need to pray for this nation. The panel discusses the Jewish people and why they are God’s chosen people. Brother Donnie explains that God had to have a people for the lineage that brought forth the Messiah, and he had to have the writers of the Word of God through which the Holy Spirit used. The panel discusses the Confederate flag, and the vote in Mississippi to remove the state flag there that included a small Confederate emblem within the flag. Brother Donnie agrees with the vote to remove it. He believes the Confederate flag does not represent the beliefs of a Christian, despite it’s history. Sister Swaggart believes all these recent issues are driven by evil and hate in an effort to overthrow this country as we know it. She warns do not be deceived or distracted to NOT see what’s really going on.
