There is a spirit attached to every doctrine that is preached; truth is from the Holy Spirit, and all false doctrine is of an evil spirit. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and the panel discuss 1 John 4:1. John is writing here to believers, warning them to not believe every teacher that they hear. Brother Donnie says all false doctrine in some way attacks the deity of Jesus Christ and the finished work of the Cross. A God called minister will always seek to teach the truth given in the Word of God. The panel discusses how science confirms the Word of God. Brother Jonathan says so many times we see in the Word of God, Paul warning Timothy not to be detoured by vain babbling and false teachings. God uses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise.
