Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel welcome special guest Dr. Svetlana Oard who is from the Ukraine and is fearful for her father and other family members in harm’s way there. Russian President Putin is targeting Ukrainian civilians there with daily bombing. Dr. Oard says under Russian occupation, food is running low, and all radio, television, and internet is cut off to the Ukraine except one Russian television station. The panel discusses America’s lack of military support, after the Ukraine was convinced in the 90’s to give up many of her weapons and assured America would help her if war threatened. Dr. Oard asks Ukrainian Americans to contact their congressmen and plead for more help. Dr. Oard says help can come without starting World War III if it is done in secretive ways. Brother John says President Putin won’t stop until he is stopped; America needs to step up and be the leader she is.
