Preachers who do not lead people in truth will be held accountable. Today on Frances and Friends, Pastor Donnie and panel answer an email about keeping the Sabbath Holy in today’s society. The Sabbath, under the Old Covenant, is to be a day of rest; this is different from "keeping the Sabbath" for a Christian now. Christ is our rest, and everyday is the Sabbath, as Christ is the Sabbath. We stay in Christ, as we keep the Sabbath with an attitude that we always honor the Lord in our actions, words and thoughts. Brother Donnie shares how God is long suffering, with the story of God allowing King Saul to reign forty years, despite his evil ways. When Saul reigned, the Capitol was not Jerusalem. Saul never drove the Jebusites out, but the first order of business under King David was to drive the Jebusites out and restore Jerusalem as the Capitol.
