Morality is born internally. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel welcome Missionary Roger Mattox of Oasis International Ministries. The panel reads Colossians 2:20 looking at how religion is always rooted in rules and ordinances, resulting in an external manmade morality. The Holy Spirit will convict us of those things that can become a stronghold in our lives; these personal convictions in our hearts will develop into a biblical morality within. As we saw in the early church, and even now, personal convictions should not become laws for others. Pastor Mattox shares how his ministry has shared thousands of the Expositor’s Study Bibles throughout America and Africa. The panel discusses the importance of anointed preaching and the moving of the Holy Spirit for believers to stay grounded in their faith and grow in the grace and the knowledge of God. Discussing the clinging vines of the fall, and the sins that do not immediately leave a believer’s life, God’s desire is for all of His children to have a victorious Christian life.
