Man looks on the outside, but God looks at the heart. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss biblical humility reading in Colossians chapter 2. The Apostle Paul called out the false teachers in the early church of Colossae. Brother Donnie says, from then until now, when the believer focuses on self and not Christ the end result will be failure and bondage. The panel responds to a question about physical problems, and why God allows illness in the lives of His children and why He heals some and not all. The panel also explains the rest we now have because of what Christ provided on Calvary’s Cross. In the Old Covenant, it was a physical day of rest, in the New Covenant our rest is in Him. We have a blessed hope when our faith is in Christ and His finished work alone.
