God’s Word is not void; error is sin. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and the panel discuss James 5:19-20, and the believer’s ability to stray away from truth when something appeals to our flesh. Faith is the only thing that justifies us in the eyes of God, but we will have fruit in our lives, thus James calls this fruit works. In James, 5:16, we are reminded, the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. The panel discusses the conservative doctrine of the Bible; as believers, we are commanded to holdfast to that form of doctrine; therefore, Christians cannot vote for political platforms that do not support the Word of God and its view on life and family.
