You cannot separate the act of the Calvary and the person who died. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss redemption, which cannot be divided. Studying in the book of Colossians and the false teachings of the Gnostics, Brother Donnie answers the question, why did God demand the shedding of blood; because the life of the flesh is in the blood. God’s plan requires a sacrificial death to atone for sin; Jesus Christ’s blood covers all sin, as all sin is against God. Man must repent; we need forgiveness. The blood of Christ is powerful enough to save fallen man and keep fallen man in faith. The panel discusses the believer’s role with regards to tithing, self-defense and mental illness.
