Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel welcome Pastor Gary French of Life ReNewed Ministries in Louisville Kentucky. Brother Donnie reads Colossians 1:1-2, discussing the five-fold ministry and the roles that God calls to build the church and take the gospel to the lost. The Apostle Paul was addressing the false teachings going on in the church of Colossae. He encourages the Colossians to anchor their faith in Christ so deception doesn’t have sway in their lives. Brother French shares his take on what biblical issues verses political. Our faith must intersect with the politics of today; darkness will only get darker without the light of Jesus Christ that is found in believers. We are called to bring truth to others amidst all the evil around us. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. It all begins in placing our faith in the finished work of Christ; He is our Savior.
