Today on Frances and Friends, Pastor Donnie Swaggart and panel discuss the mysterious remains found in Israel by archeologist. The remains appear to be of an ancient, royal structure in Jerusalem with elaborate columns likely built in the time of Biblical kings Hezekiah and Josiah. The artifacts could be likely as old as 700 years before Christ. The panel also addresses an emailer’s question about the power being in the Cross of Christ and not the resurrection. In 1 Corinthians 1:18, we read that the preaching of Cross is to them whom are perishing foolishness, but unto us which are being saved it is the power of God. The Cross of Christ is where the atonement happened, the resurrection was never in question. When Christ died on the Cross, it was a guarantee He would rise. Praise God, there’s power in the Blood. Brother Donnie also reminds us that Jesus is not our co-pilot; He is our pilot. He is our everything, and we must surrender our will to the Father.
